The task of utilizing monitoring, the troubleshooting guide, application logging and business
process monitoring to constantly learn and optimize the existing implementation is key to any system
and is an activity that occurs for the entire lifetime of the system. The key is to be able to
upgrade and keep up this process, as the system transitions from one upgrade to another.
It is critical that the training and troubleshooting guides and knowledge management process is kept
up-to-date with every change to the production platform. Also critical is to document all vendor
contracts, licenses and product version numbers and update patches for every component of the
enterprise to be able to detect any breach in software or infrastructure quality.
This step will go on throught the Software's Life Cycle.
